ABC's New 'Mole' To Air Tuesdays, 'Millionaire' Moves To Fridays Starting Jan. 5 ABC's ratings monolith "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is moving from Tuesdays to Fridays to make room for the net's highly anticipated new reality-based game show "The Mole.""Mole" is an adventure series that follows 10 players as they try to figure out who among them is the Mole (a.k.a. saboteur). Each week the contestants are quizzed on their knowledge about the mole, the person who knows the least is booted off the show. In the last episode the mole is revealed and the one remaining player wins the $1 million grand prize. The international game show debuts on Tuesday Jan. 9 in "Millionaire's" former 8-9 p.m. timeslot, where it still air for nine consecutive weeks. "Mole" is hosted by ABC News correspondent Anderson Cooper.
>In order to make room for "Millionaire' on Friday nights, the freshman comedy " Madigan Men" and the new midseason series " Dot Comedy" are being temporarily removed from the schedule. An ABC spokeswoman said " Madigan Men," which has not yet been picked up by the network, will remain on hiatus. Out of " Madigan Men's" 13 original episodes, only three remain unaired. There is no word yet on when the show will return.
" Dot Comedy," a new half-hour reality series about the Internet will premiere on Dec. 8 at 8:30 p.m. What will happen to the show after Jan. 9 is still unknown, according to the network. The new Friday lineup is as follows: " Millionaire" will kick of the night from 8-9 p.m. " Two Guys and a Girl" will move to 9 p.m., followed by " Norm" at 9:30 p.m. ABC News' " 20/20" will stay in its usual time period at 10 p.m." Related Shows
