Premieres: Sept. 26
Airs: Fridays at 9 p.m. ET
After her soap opera character is killed off, self-centered actress Faith (Kelly Ripa, "All My Children") moves in with her older sister Hope (Faith Ford, "Murphy Brown") and her family. Faith is alternately despondent about her career crash and upbeat when she's playing the hip aunt to Hope's teen daughter (Nicole Paggi, "Pasadena"). Old sibling rivalries resurface as Hope tries to keep control of her well-ordered household and Faith gets used to not having people around to cater to her every whim. Of note: Several characters were recast after the pilot, so it's hard to judge how the new actors, including Paggi and Ted McGinley as Hope's husband, will impact the show.
What They Got Right: Ripa and Ford both possess comic timing, and it's fairly believable that they're sisters.
What's Oh, So Wrong: The jokes in the pilot are way too broad. It's never a good sign when the big gag is a food fight.
Recommended If You ...: Have no plans for your Friday night.
