June 30, 2004 -- "Spider-Man 2" breaks opening-day and Wednesday-opening box office records after debuting with $40.5 million in ticket sales and Scottish author J.K. Rowling reveals that "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" will be the title to her sixth book about the boy wizard.
